Welcome to Aldersgate Theatre Arts

Throughout human history, artists, composers, musicians, writers, and performers have used the creative arts to invite audiences into experiences of contemplation, wonder, and awe. A key narrative of the Judeo-Christian story is that God has created and blessed us to be a blessing to others. When we offer young actors, dancers, and vocalists the opportunity to engage in the creative arts, we are inviting them to use their unique gifts in ways that will be a blessing to others.

Founded in 2012 by Allison Horner, Creative Ministries Director at the Aldersgate United Methodist Church, our Theater Arts program seeks to present quality works that are both hopeful and transformational. While ATA is a church-based program, our goal is to enhance the spiritual imagination of every participant, no matter their religious background.
